I’m Megan Shively, wife to my wonderful husband Trevor Shively, and mother to two beautiful children. We met through facebook when he was living in Texas. Yes, we are that Facebook Cliché. I grew up a southern girl from North Louisiana. My husband moved me up to his hometown in the Midwest, Columbia City, Indiana. To say the least it was a huge change. I truly do love where we live and wouldn’t want to raise our children anywhere else. Being a good wife and mom is a top priority of mine.
I have always loved all things pretty. I was raised along
with my 2 sisters by my Grandmother aka MamaB. She has been a huge blessing in
my life and one of the reasons I was so interested in hair, makeup, and
clothes. Growing up a shy young girl, learning how to fix myself up and finding
clothes to make me feel good about myself was an awesome outlet for me and ultimately
really helped build my confidence over the years. I believe you can do just
about anything when you are feeling good about yourself and a good outfit or
hairdo definitely doesn’t hurt. 😉
My relationship with Jesus Christ is a huge part of who I
am. He’s my savior, healer, comforter, and redeemer. Philippians 4:13 got me
through a lot in my life. I plan to also share some of my favorite devotionals
and inspirational words. No void can ever be filled by anything other than
Christ. He is the only one who can make us feel complete.
